DMITRY AFANASIEV began his finance career in London in 1996, trading exchange-traded energy and financial derivatives at Prudential-Bache. He later worked in investment banking at DLJ, Lehman Brothers, and CSFB in London and New York, executing M&A totaling over $30bn and raising $10bn in debt and equity. A British national, Dmitry holds an MSc in Economics (SUM). Based near Zurich since 2007, his interests beyond advisory work include soil remediation and zero-water cooling.

RUSLAN ALAKBAROV is a real estate investment veteran who spent over a decade at SOFAZ (Azerbaijan’s sovereign wealth fund) as Deputy CIO and Head of Real Estate. Ruslan built a global real estate platform for SOFAZ and launched its fund-of-funds program, deploying $3bn in international real estate and $1bn in private equity across Europe, APAC, and the US. Ruslan holds a B.S. from Lancaster University, an MSc from Bocconi, and is a CFA charter holder.

CHRIS ORCUTT brings 15 years of investment and industry experience across financial services and life sciences. He has held senior roles at Strategas Research Partners and has been a founding shareholder of Radioisotope Life Sciences (RLS USA), formerly GE Healthcare's radiopharmaceutical division. Chris holds a B.S. in Economics (Bryant University) and an international economics certificate from LSE, and is based in Connecticut. He acts as a non-executive advisory partner to RA Capital, contributing in a relationship and origination capacity.
